I’m Emily. I am a visual artist who is trying to improve my writing as well as my art.

Here I will focus on my personal reactions to anime by writing about them. Any art you see on this blog will be done by me as well (not including actual screencaps).

It won’t be as boring as it sounds, I promise. Thank you for visiting.

  1. I was delighted to see how well you compose your thoughts on anime! You got a follower, and I can’t wait to read more! I can’t believe that writing isn’t even your primary means of expressing yourself!

  2. Hey, I found your blog through Krystallina’s Creative Blogger Award post and your posts have been great. My friend and I have nominated you as a part of the award, but it seems you have more than enough links. Always happy to see others writing about Gakkou.

  3. Hi Emily,
I’d like to contact you with a writing opportunity, if you’d like to email me at my listed email address.

    Thank you! 🙂

  4. Stumbled on this blog accidentally thanks to my search for a good Nadeko Medusa write up. Really liked it. As well as your Stray Dogs post. This seems like a great place to hang out while I should be working. 🙂

  5. Hello,

I was wondering where you heard/got the phrase ごきげんじょう (gokigenjou). I’m aware of gokigenyou/ごきげんよう (polite “good day”) but never heard of ごきげんじょう. I put it in Google Translate and it came out as “good evening” but it confused me because when I Googled it I didn’t get any relevant results. Does it have some other meaning?

  6. Hey, emily. First of all i LOVE your Blog, especially your Articles about Flower Language in A Silent Voice. I discovered thenshortly after leaving the Cinema and I was blown away so thanks for that. Is there any way i can contact you privatly i wanted to ask you something.
